The department responded for a infant traveling in a car while on oxygen. The oxygen was running low and the child was in distress. The patient was transported to Baystate Medical by Belchertown EMS.

The department responded to the Elementary School for a fire alarm activation. Investigation revealed a issue with a heat detector. Building maintenance on scene, unable to reset system. Firefighters conducted firewatch until problem was fixed at 11:16am.

The department responded to a residence for a report of smoke backing up into the residence from a pellet stove. The fuel was removed from the stove and smoke ventilated from the home.

The department along with Amherst Fire Dept. Ambulance responded to a reported two car motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival found no vehicles or accident.

The department responded to the Historical Complex for a fire alarm sounding. Investigation found no obvious cause for activation. Unable to reset system, matter referred to property manager.
