The department was dispatched to 90 Amherst Rd. for report of a carbon monoxide alarm sounding. Fire dept. personnel tested the air with a metering device and found normal levels. The problem was determined to be a faulty battery.

The department was dispatched to 279 N. Valley Rd. for report of alarm sounding. Personnel determined it to be a false alarm caused by a malfunctioning detector. Homeowner was notified to contact their alarm company for repair.
