The department was dispatched to Rt. 202 for a report of power lines down. Units arriving on scene found a half mile of power lines down along the road. WMECO was requested to the scene.

The department was dispatched to a North Valley Rd. residence for report of a 87-year-old female who had fallen and suffered arm and head injury. Personnel arriving on scene treated the patient who was then transported to Cooley Dickinson Hospital.

The department was dispatched to a North Valley Rd. residence for report of a 32-year-old male, dizzy and light-headed. Personnel arriving on scene attended to the patient who did not require hospital transport.

The department was dispatched to an Amherst Rd. residence for a health watch activation. Pelham Police officers arrived on scene and determined it to be a false alarm. Fire units were subsequently canceled.

The department was dispatched to a North Valley Rd. residence for a 92-year-old male patient who had fell. Dept. personnel assisted the patient who did not require hospital transport.

The department was dispatched to a Butter Hill Rd. residence for a reported car fire. Personnel arriving on scene were able to extinguish the fire. The cause was believed to be the recently installed exhaust system.

The department was dispatched to a South Valley Rd. residence for a medical call. The patient was transported by ambulance to Cooley-Dickinson Hospital by the Amherst Fire Dept.

The department was dispatched to a Daniel Shay’s Highway residence for report of a patient having an allergic reaction to a bee sting. Personnel arriving on scene evaluated the patient. The patient did not require hospital transport.

Time of Call: 12:07am on June 8th 2009
The department was dispatched to a Daniel Shays Hwy. residence just after midnight for a patient with a minor head injury. The patient was treated and no transport was necessary.

The department was dispatched for mutual aid to the Town of Leverett for a structure fire. They requested our response with Tanker 1 for water support. Firefighter Stenquist was on scene within minutes of the fire starting and captured this video below.
